International Olympiad on Financial Security

The participation in the International Olympiad on Financial Security is available for:


Schoolers

  • citizens of the Russian Federation who, at the time of the preliminary stage of the Olympiad, are mastering the main educational programs of grades 8-10 of basic and secondary general education, including in the form of family education or self-education;
  • foreign citizens who, at the time of the preliminary stage of the Olympiad, are mastering the main educational programs of basic general and secondary general education of the Russian Federation, corresponding to the educational programs of grades 8-10 of basic and secondary general education;
  • citizens of the Russian Federation who, at the time of the preliminary stage of the Olympiad, are mastering programs of the 1st-2nd years of secondary vocational education.


Students

  • citizens of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens studying at the time of the preliminary stage of the Olympiad in bachelor's degree programs (years 1-3), specialist's degree programs (years 1-4), and master's degree programs (year 1) in educational organizations of higher education in the Russian Federation and partner states, including persons mastering educational programs in the form of family education or self-education, or similar forms under the national legislation of partner states

Invitation stage: February 2 – March 10, 2026
Eliminatory stage
1st round
Schoolers in grades 8-10: 
March 14, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Moscow time)
Russian students (programs: Jurisprudence, International Relations, Information Security):
March 16, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Moscow time). Time limit: 1.5 hours after you start.
Russian students (program: Economics):
March 17, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Moscow time). Time limit: 1.5 hours after you start.
International students (all programs):
testing time from March 16, 2026 (10:00 a.m. Moscow time) to March 17, 2026 (6:00 p.m. Moscow time). Time limit: 1.5 hours after you start.
2nd round: April 19 – 21, 2026 Please note that the 2nd round is conducted using the proctoring system (remote monitoring).

Students of the Russian Federation (program: Economics): 21.04.2026 from 10:00 to 11:30 (Moscow time).
International students (all programs): from 10:00 a.m. (Moscow time) on 20.04.2026 to 06:00 p.m. (Moscow time) on 21.04.2026. The time to complete is 1.5 hours from the start time.
Qualifying stage: August 1 – September 3, 2026
Final: September 27 – October 2, 2026
